Product Characteristics of Dumaplast PVC claddings
-
Density of our material is about 1.500 g/l according to NBN T42-406
and ISO 1183
-
Chemical insulation: heat resistance coefficient PVC solid material:
0,16 watt/m°K
-
Vicat softening temperature according to ISO 306B: 75-80°C: gives an
indication of maximal temperature for use: in fact 60°C
-
Linear elongation coefficient according to ASTM-D696: 8 * 10 exp -5
per °K
-
UV-resistant: depending on the amount and quality of the white
colorant and stabilizer:
-
Test of 183 hours of exposure to Xenon UV radiation and
artificial visible light at a temperature of 45°C and a relative
humidity of 60% according to NBN G62-002-2 (=ISO 105-B02) gave
the value "7" as a result. Scale: 1 = completely discoloured, 8
= not discoloured.
-
Test of 5.500 hours of exposure according to ISO 4892-2: wet
cycle 18 minutes, dry cycle 102 minutes, 550 W/m2 energy between
300 and 800 nm (UV and visible light), black panel temperature
60°C, total doses 11 GJ/m2: equivalent of 6 years in a Moderate
(Central European) Climate or 4 years in a Severe
(Mediterranean) Climate.
-
Result: decolourisation dE maximum 2,0
-
Mechanical characteristics:
-
elongation at 20°C - BS2782/320C - 142%
-
strength at 20°C - BS2782/320C - 44 N/mm2
-
E-modulus at 20°C - BS 2782/335A - 2.600 N/mm2
-
Food Contact (standard XP ENV 1186/1-2-3) for our PVC claddings
test executed by acknowledged lab LNE Laboratoire National d'Essais in
France: positive result.
